Brunch So Hard: Denver Brunchfest

September 23, 2017

Denver BrunchFest was like a personal challenge to see how many mimosas I could drink and just how hard I could brunch. I got super sunburned and had a hangover by 5 p.m. but it was totally worth it.

Don’t wear tight pants to the Denver Biscuit Company.

June 9, 2015

When my best friend Lauren came to visit Colorado we stayed a night in Denver. When we woke up in the morning, we grabbed breakfast at the Denver Biscuit Company. We walked into the local restaurant rejuvenated from our short jog, but left feeling three pounds heavier from the ridiculously large plates we were served. It was awesome and miserable.

Brunch at Capitol Hill Mansion was fit for first class

April 7, 2015

Denver Style Magazine hosted a blogger get together called Diamonds in the Daytime and the event made me feel like I was first class! We began with a brunch at Capitol Hill Mansion and finished the morning with a tour of the Molly Brown House. Not only was the food delicious and the tour educational, but the bloggers I met were great company, too!

Postino Annex made me a repeat restaurant offender!

February 25, 2015

Postino Annex in Tempe, Ariz. was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The bruschetta was insanely good, there were $5 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer almost all day and the service was impeccable. Now here is the best part: Postino is opening a Denver location in LoHi this Spring. Be still, my beating heart.

OK so maybe TECHNICALLY Blue Sushi is a chain…

January 6, 2015

Blue Sushi Sake Grill wasn’t my first choice when a group of us were picking a spot for dinner in downtown Denver, but I was very pleased with my meal and since then my love of sushi has really grown. The happy hour prices at Blue Sushi make the visit affordable and the Hawaiian Roll is the best sushi roll I’ve ate. Ever.

Mead St. Station in Denver Switches Up What’s Between the Bread

December 10, 2014

Several weeks ago I spent the afternoon on 32nd Avenue in Denver and met up with my friend Kristen for some girl talk and lunch. We decided to grab a bite to eat at Mead St. Station because of the extensive sandwich menu and reasonable drink prices. Their Pear Melt with brie and havarti cheeses – which I consider to be an adult grilled cheese – was the right mix of toasty, fruity and melty.

Masterpiece Delicatessen is a master of salads

September 30, 2014

When the Colorado Springs Pure Barre team spent a few days training in Denver, we had lots of time to try new restaurants and delis. Lucky for us, we got some great recommendations on places to eat over the weekend. Masterpiece Delicatessen is one of the awesome restaurants in the Highlands area of Denver.

Secret Nachos at Coors Field

June 25, 2014

Summer is never complete without at least one trip to Coors Field to watch the Colorado Rockies. Ballparks typically mean spending an insane amount of money on food, however there is one secret spot at Coors Field that makes a trip to see my favorite team affordable and yummy.
