It is SO important for us to support black owned businesses. Black lives matter, and I’m proud to support the wonderful black owned restaurants and businesses in Colorado Springs.
CO.A.T.I, located at 516 S. Tejon St., was announced today by Niebur Development, Atlas Restaurant Group and Pikes Peak Brewing Company. CO.A.T.I will anchor the Trolley District’s newly approved entertainment district and will be host to a brewery, bars, eateries and event space.
The Ute & Yeti, located inside CityROCK, has some awesome food with a great selection of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options, along with a killer beer list.
There have been some changes brewing at Phantom Canyon over the past year or so, and they’re good. I’ve been regularly popping in for lunch, happy hour, brunch, and even a beer release or two, and slowly but surely, they’ve won me back over.
It’s easy to grab the most popular brand or the cheapest product when you’re getting what you need for a night at home, but sometimes it’s worth the extra pennies or dollars to buy local. There are a lot of Colorado branded food and drinks that I use regularly.
Till Kitchen is a wonderful farm-to-table restaurant, however when you live on the west side, it can feel like a drive to Kansas to get there, especially during the work week. Cue Tillivery, Till’s meal delivery service.
A good cupcake is a great way to finish a meal, but a booze-infused cupcake combines your after dinner cocktail with dessert. And now that there’s Drunk Cakes, you don’t have to choose between a sweet or a drink.
Skip your daily Starbucks haul and hit this local gem. While the coffee at this shop is not to be missed, Rosco’s has also serves up tasty biscuit sandwiches and a super refreshing matcha lemonade.
Sasquatch Cookies isn’t your run of the mill bakery: they make late-night cookie deliveries. It doesn’t matter if you’re studying, or have the munchies, or don’t want to put on pants – hey, we don’t judge here – they’ll bring warm, fresh out-of-the-oven cookies to you.
Stir Coffee & Cocktails is one of a handful of restaurants owned by Joe Campana, and its new menus show that high quality food and drinks are just as important at this small shop as they are at his fine dining establishments.
